Video Hack Day 2 – Debriefing

Video Hack Day 2, held this past Saturday, was an enormous success. It kicked off with an introduction from Susan Danziger, Founder/CEO of Ziggeo and Founder of Video Hack Day as well as a talk from Albert Wenger, partner at Union Square Ventures. Video Hack Day also included an inspirational talk from Cindy Gallop, Founder of Make Love Not Porn, who talked about the importance of video to her own startup as well as the future of communication. Bpth Albert and Cindy also served as Hackathon judges. Teams spent the entire day creating brilliant hacks that combined various video APIs presented. And during the day, attendees attended training sessions on the ins and outs of individual APIs. Prizes were awarded for the best use of individual APIs as well as a Grand Prize which was won by a team that used Ziggeo's API to capture video testimonials for products. We love that fact that attendees were a diverse group that included a number of women (unusual for a hackathon).
