Ziggeo Takes the Veil Off of Untold Stories

Ziggeo's video technology has been embraced by groups with stories rarely told -- and people rarely seen telling their own stories -- to demystify and normalize experiences people and communities share.  For instance, Becoming More Visible is using Ziggeo to bring light to stories of transgender youth. Hair with a Purpose, a site for LGBT youth, is integrating Ziggeo to tell stories and experience of of youth from around the world  And Dear Kate used Ziggeo so women could record videos explaining their first period stories.  These are all stories that are suddenly given faces, voices and a spotlight in which to share experiences with others.  Because video with Ziggeo can be recorded from a phone with no professional equipment required, and because mobile phones are becoming ubiquitous, stories can be told from all communities and corners of the world.

And since videos can be recorded in homes or home turf, people can record themselves in a non-threatening comfortable environment to bring out their true selves and stories in an engaging and compelling well.
